Mechanics
The Merchandisers were briefed to:
- Check which lines on shelf
- Identify missing lines
- Address out of stock lines with store
- Ensure shelf edge labels in situ as well as promotional pricing/POS
- Replenish display with warehouse stock
Activity information communicated to stores to ensure awareness communicated with Store Managers via a weekly Bulletin, ensuring no stores refused the Audit.
Results – 86% Availability
3 promotions not running in store; immediately flagged and communicated back to the client.
Following the results, key trends identified including which lines were particularly low on stock and which lines were most readily available on shelf.
