MONTHLY MERCHANDISING
Objectives
- To support MAKRO stores with the launch of a tool range into the UK.
- MSF to be the UK representation of the supplier, responsible for the products and the fixtures within these stores
- To set up bays according to planogram
- Visit the store on a regular basis to maintain, replenish and order stock.

Mechanics
The Merchandisers were briefed to:
- Call the store prior to the visit
- Visit the store on the agreed date
- Merchandise deliveries and pull all items to the front of the hooks
- Replace any shelf edge labels and/or swinging barcodes
- Order any low and / or out of stock items
- Ensure the bays looked neat and tidy

Results – Average 5 out of stock sku’s corrected per visit
Regular orders placed by the merchandisers to ensure stock levels are kept to a maximum. Stock merchandised during every visit, ensuring that the bays of this particular tool brand look fully stocked, neat and tidy.
Essentially MSF are the ‘eyes & ears’ of the UK market for this internationally based company, so regular feedback is a key element in the continuing merchandising of this tool brand.
